INDUSTRIAL PROCESS WATER (I.P.W.)

A specific apparatus is associated to each treatment.

General Treatments - Removal of suspended solids and organic substances

  • Oxidation (air, ozone, reagent, …)

  • Coagulation destabilisation of colloidal particles

R.A.P.D. ("Réacteur d'Agrégation de Particules par Destabilisation")

    • Combined or not with flocculation

    • With static or motorised mixer

  • Flocculation agglomeration of particles by transport et contact one with the others. Larger particles or "flocs" are the result.

R.A.P.T. ("Réacteur d'Agrégation de Particules par Transport")

    • Combined or not with flocculation

    • With static or motorised mixer

    • With or without stirring

    • With or without post-treatment

  • Settling

One or two step separation by settling of particles because their higher density compared to this of the liquid.

    • with internal sludge recirculation

Solid – liquid separation is improved by sludge recirculation to the inlet of the unit

      HYDROGYR - TCL (clarification)

      HYDROGYR - TD (decarbonatation)

      HYDROGYR - FCL (clarification)

      HYDROGYR - FD (decarbonatation)

    • with plates (with or without sludge recirculation)

Solid – liquid separation is improved by forcing the flow between plates mounted at an angle in the clarification zone

      HYDROPAC

      HYDROPAC - R

    • with sludge blanket

Solid – liquid separation is improved by forcing the flow through a permanent liquid sludge layer

      HYDROZONE

    • with pulsation of the sludge blanket

Method of controlling the height of the sludge bed

      HYDROPULS

    • specific clarifier with or without bottom sludge scraper

    • specific clarifier with or without scum scraper

    • circular or rectangular tank (concrete, steel, synthetic material, …)

  • Flotation

By adhesion of small air bubbles to the particles these are forced to the surface and evacuated by a scum scraper after concentration.

    HYDROFLOT

    • Circular tank (concrete, steel, synthetic material, …)

    • Rectangular tank (concrete, steel, synthetic material, …)

  • Filtration through a filter-bed

    • At air pressure – "open" filters – for important flows, i.e. for several hundreds of m³/h. Units usually in concrete.

    • "pressure " filters – for limited flows . Units in steel or synthetic material.

  • Filtration on porous membranes

    • microfiltration

      MICROSEP (Micro Filtration)

    • ultrafiltration - retention de suspended solids, colloids, germs,

      ULTRASEP (Ultra Filtration)

    • nanofiltration - retention de suspended solids, colloids, bacteria and some bivalent salts, the monovalent salts are nearly removed.

      NANOSEP (Nano Filtration)
